SA Lend Lease barrel for sale

I had posted this on the CMP but they took it off as it was not my part. I have an old friend in California who is without a computer. He picked-up a few M1 rifle barrels recently and among these barrels is a SA Lend Lease barrel BNP proofed at the rear and dated S-A-8-41. Bore is mint TE is 2.5 and muzzle is 2.0. He thinks it might be worth $1000.00 but is open to discussion concerning the price.
