R51Fan here from the R51 forum! Keep trying with that little gun. Have you gotten your new mags yet? Even with the problems, I feel it is a worthy gun to keep tinkering with to get straightened out. Best of luck!

Thanks Sean! I haven't given up on it yet. By far it's not the first firearm to have teething issues; nor is it the first one in my collection that has needed some attitude adjustment. I'm hoping to make it to the range tomorrow and try out the new magazines. Keep your fingers crossed!

If you are like me, you may have been intrigued by the Remington R51 when it was released to much fanfare back in 2014. Also, if you are like me, you may well have opted to pass on purchasing one when all the reports of problems pertaining to that pistol started to surface. So now, 2 years after the reintroduction of the R51, has Remington succeeded in improving it?
