    1903 Springfield Stock Markings HELP

Can someone tell me if the markings on the 1903 Springfield are correct. I look online for Springfield block markings and could find a match so I'm confused as to what they are and it they were made at arsenal. The action of the rifle was made between 1907-1908 and the barrel is marked SA 10-18 A.

Both fake. Someone had a pocket knife and had nothing better to do. The JFC was J.F.Coyle and was an inspector during that time frame. I have no idea about the other one. Maybe a guy who owned the rifle.

Looks like the bottom is MFG to me and the top is FHD or EHD.

They were faking 1903 stock cartouches long before M1 rifles & carbines

Here is the late SA over JFC from the 1930's era that was used with the SA SPG stamp. It "might" have been used on the early M1 stocks instead of SA SPG. But Click image for larger version
