    Bayonet Band Stamp Markings

My M1 Carbine's Bayonet band has a "MMQ" stamp mark on the Left side of the band and "EMQ" on the bottom of the bayonet lug

Does anyone know what the Markings represent?
    Are these Post-WW2 markings?

On many other parts, EM-Q usually means it was made by Quality Hardware, but I don't have my reference book handy. The Type III barrel band with bayonet lug started to be available in late WWII (I want to say 1944-ish, but I might be off on that). Most were added during arsenal refurbs during the post WWII time period.

I read MMQ (Muller Manufacturing) was a Subcontractor to Quality Hardware.
