This is my M1 bayonet that I bought from work for $20. It's an A.F.H. built in 1942.

The M1 bayonet was developed from the Model 1905 bayonet which replaced the Model 1903 rod bayonet. Towards the end of WW1 these 16 inch blades were parkerized and were used on early gas trap and gas port M1 rifles at the start of WW2. Early original pre WW1 bayonets in excellent condition can be difficult to find.Last edited by RCS; 03-16-2020, 09:52 AM.
