I'm very uneducated when it comes to bayonets, but I'd love to see some that people have in their collections. If you have any that you'd like to share pix of post 'em here!!

I would think around $500 plus ? there was a leather scabbard before the canvas. The early bayonets look
nice with my pre WW1 rebuilds (mixmasters and not worth a lot) which I think are neat. Bought the four
digit 1903's from the CMP auctions and that the finish they came with too.3 Photos

RCS,.. Here are the leather, wood/ gut, M1905 scabbards. They have a metal loop hanger as on the M1892 Krag bayonet. There are three types, short throat, long throat , and experimental aluminum inner body ( note tapered bottom of body and missing third rivet in throat).1 PhotoLast edited by Tom in N.J.; 07-13-2015, 02:32 PM.

Here is a seldom seen version of the U.S. M1 bayonet. It was made in Norway and has the markings of Kongsberg Arsenal. See 'Bayonet Points #44' for details. This bayonet was obtained from the late Bruce Stern at an Allentown gun show many years ago.
