      No, Back injury, still shoot handguns & 22s. Barrel gauges 1, Bayonets were a weird design because of the reciprocating barrel.

        Sorry to hear of your back injury. I had two Johnsons 25yrs ago and shot both. Even shot a DCM match with one. Score were nothing to write home about but it never jammed. Great rifles, can always keep mag loaded to max unlike an M1 Garand. Had a extra barrel in 7mm Mauser. Navy arms imported some Johnsons from South America in 7mm Mauser.
        Whish I had not sold them.

          South American came from Chile in 7MM. I have a chile bayonet.

              Only one thing I can think of that would make that rifle look better....sitting in my safe.
