Stoner 5,56mm links are stamped BRW S 63, I believe these are the first links used with the 5,56mm cartridge. The Stoner 63 links have a slightly different pitch than the M27 links used in the M249. The M27 link will not operate reliably in the Stoner. Original Stoner 63 links are not common and expensive.
