    The original "green" color

    I use a four digit Colt SP1 to install original color green handguards, butt and pistol grip for
    others to match the color for restorations. Also took the photos outside in sunlight.

            Do you have a brown handled or green handled bayonet to go with it... I know I shouldn't even ask... great rifle.. other than pics and maybe a museum don't see many original green rifles.

              Curt, no bayonet, even back in that time period that were difficult to salvage, worth a lot of money now.

              Anyone can paint the handguards, grip and butt green, but only original when painted over the mottled brown fibrite .
