    M16A2 clone went hunting.

I was small game hunting with my family on a deer hunting trip, and this small whitetail buck was standing about 25+ yards from me,so I neck shot him with one of my 55gr SP reloads, and He fell like a ton of bricks. The rifle is mostly usgi M16A2 parts, and a Del-Ton lower receiver.

Remember, there are no sporting uses for military style rifles.

          Cool take! Thanks for sharing.
I know a retired Marine MSGT that hunts deer with his .223 all the time. I can't remember what bullet he is using but it is some newer design, but he told me last time he hit one through the heart and looked like hamburger when he got it opened up. Very effective.

Nice buck and great lookin rifle.

I love the basic 20" A2 upper, and really really wish more companies made them.

                I agree!
My agency recently received 15 USGI M16A2 rifles. They are awesome.
I may consider trading in my M14 for a while just to play with one!!

There's no replacement for bullet placement...

Yep,I've seen lots of large animals taken with small calibers.Bullet placement is paramount to success,I've also seen many animals wounded and escape from large caliber rifles owned by people who couldn't handle them.
