Joined the group a couple of months ago and I'm finally getting around to taking a look every day or two or three... I've been shooting IDPA pistol matches for a couple of years now and only recently purchased my first Garand from a friend who was selling all his gear. I think I got a pretty good deal and now I'm researching and learning about its history and function. I've shot it a few times and am impressed. I think I'm going to have to join a club up near Lafayette in order to let this rifle stretch her legs and let me learn how to shoot her.
