Greetings and thanks for having me!

I'm an Army Civilian research analyst at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. I love working for my country and supporting the Warfighter, go Army, hooah! I also have many hobbies...baseball, backpacking, and most of all shooting and military history.

I have my very first Garand on the way and I absolutely cannot wait to hold the finest battle implement ever designed in my hands.

My Garand is a 1954 M1 Garand Springfield from the CMP. I scored it off Gun Broker. The ME measures 1.5 and the TE measures 2. I think I got a great rifle for a good price. I'm real happy with the ME and TE measurements. Looking to get started in some CMP shoots.

Be sure to fulfill the requirements to purchase from Thd CMP. Their milsurp Garand ammo is a great price to feed your addiction.
