Have looked through all recommended scources but have not been able to find info on a 1944 SA receiver with a 2--A-4-44 marked barrel, which also has on the top of the barrel a crossed cannons cartouche, an A punch mark and D36488-31-A-71- - -2. Can anyone enlighten me to what this means. Thanks in advance. Mike G.
