Thanks for letting me join. Was always into M1s and have been steadily learning all that I can from some older friends of mine. Currently have one that I rebuilt to factory spec. Lovely 4.24 million Springfield with correct JLG stock. Couldn't be happier and hope to add many more to my safe!

Welcome to the forum. Nice post war M1 Garand. Would it happen to be a March of 1953?

I believe the heat treat dated it to December of 1952. I had the barrel changed as the throat was coming up on 7. Now it currently has a 1955 barrel but can't remember the month. Guage a solid 2ME and 3TE.
