New guy from Texas

Hello to all, I am very new to the m1, m14 style rifle , so I'm sure there will be lots of questions.
Bought a new m1a loaded & traded for a garand , have the garand all tore down, cleaned & ready to put back together. Haven't touched the m1a. I have been reading for several months on m14 & CMP forum trying to learn all I can, I recognize lots of names from there on this forum, y'all have an abundance of knowledge & thanks for sharing
