Hello,
My name is Travis.
The first rifle that I personally bought was a Blue Sky Inland Carbine (1943) in the spring of 1989 or 1990 for 150 bucks. I was still in HS at the time and my mother had to do the paperwork.
In 1992 the second rifle I bought was a M1 Garand off the surplus rack from a local gun store. Do you remember those surplus ( junk) racks of Chinese Mausers....battered .303 Mk III Enfields, ratty single barrels, loose double barrels and every now and then a Garand?
Well it looks like my Garand was/is not junk at all. It's S/A, all S/A, all 1945....maybe, just maybe as issued for Korea?
