Hi there my name is Scott I'm an avid garans collector.
I have 5 M1 rifles all deactivated in line with UK law sadly.
I am working On a Winchester M1 and have 93% of parts except for Receiver and barrel which are sold welded together in the UK. I also have a small collection of M1 Gas Trap parts.
I am currently working on restoring serial number SA 2004** to as original spec as possible. The barrel is unfortunately an LMR barrel however and is welded to receiver, however I have managed to find several rare parts including original Flush Nut Sights, Grooved Rear Handguard clip and grooved lower band, GHS Stock which has been 're proof' stamped post war but still retains crisp GHS and large cross cannons stamps.
I am on the look for a numbered SA narrow base cylinder for this M1.
I am also trying to restore SA 34979** and all I require for this is a GAW stock which should be arriving from a friend in the stars soon!
Looking forward to talking about all things garand!
Scott
