Just signed up here since that other forum doesn't seem to care about activating accounts in a timely manner. Disrespectful if you ask me.

I got my first M1 last month and today with the great unseasonably warm weather and the day off I was able to get out and shoot it for the first time.

Please justify why it should take one person's account three months to be activated, while another's is activated in a matter of days, while those that registered in between those times go ignored. Along with no responses to inquiries except for one mod that said they would look into it. If it's store staff that are running the forum and they are too busy with other things, perhaps account activation should be delegated to admin/mods that are not.

I go on the forum and check every day . This every time

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

First sent a message to the address in the activation email/what you linked to. No response. Sent a PM to the admin that always replies to messages in the webmaster forum. No response. Most recently sent PM to the most recently active mod I could find and got a response saying he'd look into it. And that was over a week ago.

While you're waiting for your account to be activated "over there," why don't you take a moment and share some pix and info on your new M1 Garand?

There could be multiple reasons for you not being activated on the other forum:
1) Your forum name could be similar to someone who was banned and they think you are the same person.
2) Your e-mail and ISP could be similar to someone who was banned and they think it's the same person just using a different
email....example ( [email protected] vs [email protected])
3) Your e-mail could be hacked and sending out spam and they have you blocked.
4) I may be wrong, but I see an "attitude" in you posts. If you convey that to the moderators on the other forum, they are under no obligation to activate your account. The other forum is a "luxury" that cost money and not required to promote marksmanship or sell rifles. There were times that they considered eliminating the forum unless the participants became more civil.
