    Hello

In my time I have collected a dozen Garand Rifles and at present have only two, a HRA (CMP FG nearly new/un-issued) and a Winchester (CMP FG).

My Winny needs some work. In it's present state it does function however I would like to install a new barrel, find a Winchester TG, bolt, OP rod and gas cylinder.
So you can see I have my work cut out for me this winter, as long as my 'mad money' holds out.

This journey we all (here) have taken, e.g. yard and estate sales, small gun shops and gun shows, we meet new folks like ourselves .... trade, visit, remember.
I am retired living in SW Montana.
Thank you for the opportunity to hang out and ask some questions.

Yes, my dreams are most likely larger than my budget.
My Winchester is a CMP Greek return, and since purchasing I have done nothing to it.

I will not get serious about it until after the Holidays.

Welcome to the forum. I have some spare Winchester parts. If you like you can PM me and I will send you a list. It's not a lot of parts. I still need a op rod and gas cylinder for mine. Part of the fun of doing a restro is chasing the parts.
