    Greets from Germany

    Hi guys.

I just signed up here and would take the chance to introduce myself:

I´m Ben and I live in Germany. I bought this old lady a few days ago and want to know a little more about its origin and history:

I´m 32 years old and serve in the German armed forces. I own a German firearms license/permission and I´m interested in guns and stuff like this since my youth.

Surely you guys know were I can open a topic about my M1 to get a few questions answered about it.

    Best regards, Ben

Welcome to the forum, benso. That's a nice looking garand you have. You can ask your questions under any of the sub-forums that apply to your rifle.
Be sure to post pictures. We love pictures !!!!!

Welcome to the forum, Ben. Nice looking M1 you have there! You can take a bunch of pics of your rifle and post them in the appropriate sub-forum to get your answers.

Where do you live in Germany? The wife and I spent two years in Augsburg and a year in Darmstadt....June '96 - '99....all on the U.S. taxpayers dime, thanks taxpayers! Germany is beautiful country and the beer, just wow!
