Hello from Virginia Beach

I just acquired my second Garand, and I really want some help to see what I have, and what I should or should not do with it.
I work for a defense contractor in Norfolk, VA, and usually shoot in the Pungo area of Virginia Beach.

I will do - I'm going to detail strip my 1945 service grade this weekend, so maybe I'll throw some pics of that up.
I never looked at lot numbers on that rifle...
