Hi everybody! My name's Joe, and I'm from smack dab in the middle of the nation in Kansas. I've been collecting M1's and related accouterments for the last 8 years now and have had a wonderful time doing so. I hope I can contribute to the forum here as well as learn more about the M1 from its members. Additionally, I'm hoping I can seek advice and help with some M1 projects I'm working on. I've got memberships under the same screen name through the CMP and USMF forums and recognize some people from both sites here as well. I'm looking forward to conversing with you all!

Brian, thanks for the welcome from SoCal! Ironically, I'm in SoCal for school right now. Weather's great out here in comparison to how cold it is back home. My buddy took me to Crossroads of the West Gunshow in OC last year in March. I had an absolute blast.Comment

That show is a great show, I go meet a member or two there and hang out for the afternoon. I think it is the biggest in SoCal now.
There is a gun show in San Bernardino this weekend if you're close enough to it. I was going to go but I'm another 1 1/2 hours east of there.
There are also some really good shooting ranges out here.
