Looking to fix my fathers M1.

The stock on my fathers M1 cracked and broke. I was hoping for advice on where to go to replace it. Any help would be very much appreciated. I tried uploading a picture and it would not take.

Depending what cracked and broke it maybe repairable. Need better description of location of break. Also new wood is available. Try Midway or Brownells. or Gun Broker.

RDS is correct on possibly fixing the stock. If the stock can't be repaired, do you want to get a new stock and hand guards ? Assuming the stock is a USGI stock, do you want to get something similar to what you have ?
Try using a photo hosting site to post some pictures. A lot of people hate Photobucket, but I use it because I am accustomed to all its quirks.
