| It is with a very heavy heart that I share this post regarding the passing of absolute legend that was George Cassidy. George was an old school gentleman, with a knowledge of M1 Garands and firearms to rival any expert. Always active on the various Facebook pages dedicated to M1s. Sorry to hear that Mate.
With men like that we lose a good person first and foremost, then great knowledge on top of it. Earlier this year I lost a friend like that, a man that actually served in my Dad's Armored Infantry Battalion in the ETO. Not only was he a wonderful man, but he was always there to help me with questions I had regarding anything "Rifleman" related in the war.
