    threaded barrel

Can anyone explain what is meant by a threaded barrel for a blank adapter? Where is the barrel threaded, and what does this do to accuracy, and value?

A threaded blank firing adapter is for ONLY firing blank cartridges. It's threaded to replace the gas cylinder lock. Accuracy ???? If you fire a live round with a blank firing adapter installed, you could possibly end up destroying your rifle and injuring yourself and bystanders.

the way the seller wrote the add, it sounded like he added threads to the barrel. i know you don't shoot live ammo through a blank adapter.

I have seen the inside of the bores threaded before. At one time there was a bunch of real nice WWII barreled rifles at the North Store and unfortunately they all had the bores threaded

Some guns used by the movie industry had their barrels threaded in the bore at the muzzle end. A blank firing device was then treaded into the bore where it would not be seen.
