Problem, Garand ejects last live round with clip

I recently purchased a Tanker Garand by Fed Ord. It is chambered in 7.62. It loads and shoots great, however when the 8th live round comes up it ejects the clip and the live shell. Anybody know what causes this? Thanks for your help.

What enblocs are you using ? You should be using USGI enblocs. Some possible fixes are replacing the clip latch, bullet guide and follower arm. Did you contact the seller and explain the problem ?

Its out of time. Could be any of the things jak stated. Checking the follower arm is fairly easy. If it bent you should be able to see it. As far as the bullet guide you need to mic the cam on the bullet guide. Bullet guides and follower arms are not expensive.

Thanks for the information. I have another Garand that works fine. I will switch out the three parts with the other Garand and see if I can narrow it down and see which part is the culprit.
