Receiver Fixture Assembly for Garand

While I would like to own something like this, it is not in the cards right now. I was surfing ebay for something to do and noticed this fixture assembly for sale, as pictured on page 153 of Pyles, Ordnance tools, accessories and appendages book. The auction is 222093106544. I don't expect that you see these for sale very often and it appears to be complete and functional. Not sure what the shipping would be, but the initial price is reasonable in my opinion if you are in to these things. I expect if you were servicing garands on a regular basis it would pay for itself in a very short time.

Doubtless it would with use pay for itself for a M-1 Garand gunsmith. It is fascinating to see the fixtures and jigs that were developed for the production and services of the M-1 Garand. Remarkable the thought and effort that went into the design and manufacture of this outstanding rifle.
