Tool for Rear Hand Guard Band Removal?

Is there a Tool to remove the Rear Hand Guard Band for cleaning purposes? or Is it better leave it alone because of the risk of breaking to the Rear Hand Guard.

They are handguard pliers. avail for about 25. or so. For cleaning I would not remove. I have an old strobel set and a newer set.

Some years ago I parked a bunch of the rear hand guard removal/installation tools @Knob Creek for a guy named Dennis Scott. He lives in Bardstown, KY last I knew.
