Garand Throat Erosion and Muzzle Wear Gauges by Stone Ax

I just bought one and it works. Its results mostly duplicate (but, in some cases, invalidate) the measurements on my CMP Garands' blue armorer's tags. That is to say that 90% of the time the Stone As measures the same as the CMP tag and the rest of the time the CMP measurement stated is way off of what the gauge in my hand says.

you will find that it does not always match what the CMP tag states. Many times the CMP tag will read wear is worse than it actually is
