The 3 rifles (M1C, M1D, and MC1) already have pads on them. Those above are just extras.
Back in the 90s, Numrich had a sale of take-off M1 sniper stocks that included the pads. $124.95each. I drove on over and picked up 10. Wish I still had all of those, some even had hang tags on them stating what repair the rifle needed.
