That's a tough call JD,, lemme splain. Many years ago I came across a 6 groove M1 Garand barrel. Yes, 6 groove. Bill Ricca informed me that way back when (1960s IIRC) a guy (Bill gave me his name but I have forgotten it) used to buy de-milled GI barrels of all kinds. He would use the M1 chamber end and add a barrel from M1917s, 03s etc,,then turn them down to Garand profile. He did a male/female joint and brazed them. You could just make out the thin hair braze line. I had this barrel mounted to a receiver and it actually shot very well with iron sights. Not leaving well enough alone, I bought one of the Numrich M1D barrel blocks, had that barrel turned down to accept the block, had the block press fit to the barrel by a very competent machine shop. Went to a friends farm in upstate NY. We set up targets out to 600 yrds. One friend had a very expensive 14 inch celestron "telescope". We used it for our spotting scope. While sighting in this rifle, I was not hitting anything. Moved back to 400, then 200, then 100 yrds. Could not find where I was hitting. Then one friend noticed the dirt kicking up about 75 feet in front of us. A made EVERY adjustment I could to the scope to get on paper,,it just would not do it. Took the scope off and put it on my real M1D, re-adjusted and shot just fine..................
Bottom line here,, value of that barrel will depend on how good the block is, and how good the installer mounted it on the barrel. It'll prolly look good, but may not shoot worth a damn.
