interesting Winchester rifle

This early 1941 Winchester was machined a little too close and the cutter went through the top of the rear sight base.. Despite
the hole, the rifle functions without any problems. Billy Pyle said he found a 1941 Springfield with an identical hole. I would bet
there are still more around like this one
