interesting bolt, not common but not really rare either. Redfield has one just like this only the SA was also added

Thanks for the photos. For me, the bolt is the heart and soul of the rifle. Not to diminish the significance of the barrel. I just take a liking to the action.Last edited by Garanditis; 05-17-2016, 09:59 PM.

These revision 2 bolts (J9A and RE 2) are from around late 1941, these are still new, never having been used. Note the way they were finished from the factory. These are the same type as found in Lend lease rifles but without the small BNP stamp that was soon worn out.
photos will not post: the photos show the bolt face and area behind each locking polished bright and without any finish. This started with the early revision 2
