    SA 1944 rifle

Got this with another rifle (SA 2 mil serial range) a few years ago, usually don't collect rifles this late. I believe both rifles came from the CMP at some point in time. The 2.4 million serial number is into the Winchester serial number range. I have seen other SA serial numbers even higher into the Winchester number block too.

I can not be 100% certain the finish is original but when you take photos sometimes parts look different ?

Nice time capsule of a bygone era when men used wood and steel to make history.

        Robert,
Is the uncut -9 op rod a curve side or flat side?
        Thanks,
