Original stock?

Hi,

can anyone confirm wether this stock is original or not? It is on a Mk2 Mod1 Navy Garand (converted to .308/7.62 NATO)

If you click on the “4 Photos” under the 3 thumbnail, you could see the fourth picture, which is a closed up picture of the cartouche. But here it is:

How can you tell? I would like to be able to know the differences between fakes and original in the future.

is it possible it was done when they replaced the barrel (7.62 nato) or it is 100% fake?

Also, does the stock looks original (is it correct to say no original cartouche = civilian/aftermarket stock)?

cannons arent right either, compare the two. Its a USGI stock that someone stamped with a reproduction stamp

Those crossed cannons are the sorriest excuse for same that I've EVER seen.
