    Win13 op rod

Can anyone tell me the absolute correct op rod for a winchester win13 garand serial #16078xx …
I have a CMP really nice garand with a lot of Winchester parts but unfortunately it has a SA op rod and I want to replace it with the correct one…Also if this is permitted, where would I be likely to find the correct one??
    Thanks

Look for a WRA that is not an angle cut. That is the correct oprod.

Any WRA Operating Rod is fine as lone as there is no Dash.

Unless things have changed. Straight cut Win13 op rods are very difficult to obtain and very expensive to buy. I sold one years ago for more than $300.

Anyone have a picture of the "straight cut" OP rod? I am not sure what should be straight VS angled. I looked at pictures online, but they all look the same to me ?

Dupage has a Winchester op rod for sale. It has the slant cut.

A Win13 op rod looks just like any post war op rod.

Not always mate. Some Slant cuts were used. It's the lack of - (dash) between the D35382 and WRA which denotes being of Win 13 production.
