    Yet Another Build (SA 43)

    This will be my final wartime SA rifle (maybe😉). I have started to accumulate parts and so far have:

    1. Full Type 2 Lockbar Rear Sight
    2. 12 SA Demilled Bolt
    3. 8 Follower
    4. Follower Arm with Forging Numbers
    5. Bullet Guide with Forging Numbers

    6. -1 SA Trigger Guard (a little bit early)
    7. SA Trigger with casting numbers
    8. Hammer Plunger, Spring and Spring Housing.
    9. 6 SA Safety without hole (a little bit early)
    10. Hammer and Trigger pins.

    11. E McF Stock - Later one with small cross Cannons and tiny cross Cannons on underside of stock - Will check for
    12. Buttplate
    13. Screws
    14. Stock Ferrule
    15. Sling Ferrule

    16. Stamped Rear Hanguard Clip
    17. Rear Handguard
    18a) Narrow Base Gas Cylidner with cut
    b) Narrow Base Gas Cylidner with Front Sight Seal.
    19. Gas Cylinder Lock

            Have finally found the missing War year for my collection: 1943. Has a 45 barrel and looks to have been corrected for wartime. I will post pics when it lands!

                    Wartime Winchester manufactured. Interesting that it does not have the 2S stamping on the inside.

                    Your Sling Ferrule also looks to be WRA.

                      What are the identifying marks on the Butt Plate and the Swivel? I've also attached a better picture of the Rear swivel and the screws.

                        There aren't really any identifying marks mate.

                        The butt plate checkering comes into sharp points below the door. Thus is one of the ways to tell for WRA.

                        Swivel is a little harder to explain. Does it have any rough machining marks or milling marks? This is a tell tale sign, also the squared area is closer to the Swivel area than SA or any of the post war manufacturers.
