    Differences between: Stamped vs Flat vs Milled

    Hello lads.

    Ok so milled I know usually shows machining marks however what is the difference between flat and stamped lower Bands?

    Not exactly sure what you are asking, flat lower bands are stamped/brazed

      Thanks Orlando, I saw some bits for sale recently which were described as being stamped and other parts xesfuved as being flat.

      After the arched SA band were they all stamped ?

            Yes..............and the only arched bands were SA and WRA

                Take a band and place it on a flat surface like glass or metal. Orient it like it would sit in the rifle, so open end up. Then rock it back and fourth on the short axis. Does it rock or give resistance? If it rocks it’s arched, if not its flat.

                  Sorry mate wasn't looking for info on Arched ones. They kind of speak for themselves.
