    Interesting lead dip callout info

    Had a chance to view the WRA an SA blueprint used at WRA .Dated 1937 last revision 8/18/43 .
    The lead dip callout as follows :

    Heat in Lead 900F- 1000F for 1 1/2-2 minutes ,quench in oil .Adjust to harness no more than D57
    Per drawing hold at 60 degree angle heating for no more than 2 minutes quench to keep from tempering sight serration.

    Phosphate Black ,hold at 350F for 15 minutes (SA)

    3115 steel 1937 and 3120 1939.
