      I’m trying to figure the same thing out but I’m struggling to see where the lip is supposed to be or not supposed to be on the accelerator. Can someone post a picture to make it more clear?

        These are all no lip accelerators, they have been refinished. If they had a lip there would be a raised edge

          The round end v. square end clip latch can't be differentiated from an external picture. One has to actually remove it to tell. The round end will have no machining on it other than the thru hole. A square end will have a small square milled on it where the thru hole is. They're deceiving from the outside at best. It's akin to a type II/type III lock bar. There are indeed square end type II's and round end type III's. They must be inspected on their undersides for the maching/no machining marks to tell the difference.
