grenade launcher sight carrying case, first type issued

photos show the T59E3 carrying case, note the absence of markings and without belt hooks. I would estimate issue period the same time as the grenade sight became available

Is that case just for the blanks, or the sight as well?

the case is for the grenade launcher with the level, it just fits as I tried one. The cartridges are the M3 for the M7 launcher - the M1909 blank is not used
