    New Garand Owner!

Hello everyone!! Brand new Garand owner as of today; 1943 Winchester receiver/barrel with LOTS of WRA parts. Curious how much of this is actually Win other than the items marked WRA. I forgot to photo the barrel but it does have the oval W proof. Follow the link for the other photos I took and if I missed anything PLEASE let me know!

Been reading, but I would really appreciate an expert read on what I own and an estimated value (so I know just HOW happy to be). Lifelong ownership dream fulfilled so I won't be upset either way.

Forgot to note that the trigger guard is also WRA. 46025 W.R.A. with white letters.
    Barrel and Throat are 2+
I am bummed that it has the SA Elevation knob but still chuffed with the rest.

The complete rear sight is SA. No WRA parts on it. Nice rifle with some Winchester parts but, not really "lots" of them. It's an arsenal rebuild mixmaster but, if it has an original barrel it has pretty high value as a barreled receiver alone. From the pics it's an arsenal repaired SA stock (bedded to tighten), RA 77 series op rod, SA trigger housing. That's about all the pictures you posted have to say.

Appreciate your input! I think the Op Rod faked me out until I realized it was a NM remake not a win. Still quite excited, including photos of the barrel and the trigger guard. Any idea of value?

This website has a wealth of information and will help you determine the source and production timeframe of many of your parts. Have fun learning and shooting. If these babies could only talk!

Be careful using that site^^^^above. Unless it's been recently updated there's a lot of suspect information in it.
