Except for the ones that showed up on the 5.8's that came back from Greece!
You weren't asking but WRA seems to switch over around the same period in the fall of '42 (September-ish?), but as usual the transition is nowhere near as crisp as at SA and some rifles seem to show grooved still in December. It is a tough era to get good data as good rifles are pretty scarce.
But as the Greek 5.8's illustrated each maker had bins with old parts in the bottom that got used up later - almost 15 years was surprising though. Heck, from the time those clips were made the US had gone thru two wars before it was finally used. WRA did the same and there were nearly mint Win-13's showing up at Anniston years ago with sight seals on them (I have seen one of those myself)!
(At moments like this it sometimes occurs to me how odd we are that we study such things, and with so much energy, ... and that from someone who laughed out loud when he first read in Scott's red book about WRA flared arrow tips on rear sight knobs - really? You guys study the TIPS of the ARROWS??!!
blink, blink, ...
And all these years later, here I am, ... )

I just looked in Canfield's book and all he says is it was used until "early '42". "Early" is open for speculation.

TJT, I think your correct. Duffs last observation was serial 701382. That would make it early July 42.

gas trap period numbered rear bands, the B 8870-1 is common while the B 8870-l (without serifs) is not common.

I believe up until about serial 875,000 or early October 1942.
