WW2 or post war rebuild/inspection stamp - tall W

I have seen this tall W next to the SA SPG on late 1903 rifle stocks. Also have photos of a tall W on a Winchester WRA WB stock converted to trap door butt plate and with a square P in a box which I believe is post war
