Anyone know where I can find......................

I have been looking for a minty Springfield Post War DOD stamped stock for sometime and they seem to be nonexistant. Used to be HRA stocks were hard to find and SA were everywhere, now it the opposite
I have been checking Gunbroker and E-Bay and put a request in the want to buy section on this forum and on the CMP forum
Anyone have any other ideas where to look???

I will keep my eye out for one for you. What is your budget for one.

I am not afraid of paying up if condition is there. I am looking for a stock with next to no dents, no repairs, no bedding, original finish, not sanded. With or without metal

Hate too say this, but your more than likely got too have too by a whole rifle just too get the stock and then sell the rest.... There is a gent not far from where I'm at that has a very nice parts correct original finish SA 5.94 however he is wanting way too much for it.

Funny how a few years ago nice HRA stocks were in demand and hard to find and Springfields were plentiful, now its just the opposite. They are out there, I will find one someday

Bill, I have a near mint condition stained birch SA replacement stock with DAS and circle serif P. I assume you aren't looking for something like this as it is a replacement stock?

I'm keeping an eye out for you....one will fall in your lap when you least expect it.
