Roland Beaver made some really nice match M1 rifles, I had a friend that waited almost two years to have Beaver build his match M1 rifle. Beaver also made a few gas trap barrels too, as I found a data sheet on s/n 3479 from many years ago. The barrel is marked on top 3479 (same as receiver) and BEAVER 9-90 (date of installation. Also of interest is that Beaver used six groove barrels

Here is a Roland Beaver build I picked up for a song a couple years ago,its my sleeper rifle
The original owner purchased the garand from DCM in 1995 and sent it to Roland Beaver at Old Corps Weaponry for a National Match build. Mr Beaver installed a Obermeyer 5R NM barrel .Glass bedded the WWII EMcF stock that came on the rifle. Installed NM front and rear sights , did NM mod to the trigger group, etc

I can remember asking Roland Beaver to look for an early dated M14 barrel in nice condition for me. He found a Springfield barrel dated Jan 60 and I traded a TRW 64 dated barrel even
