I want to see your favorite Garand you own!

Let's see the ONE special rifle you consider the crown jewel from your collection, and the reason why.

Crown Jewel (only jewel) Aug42 receiver. I can only image what it has seen, going through pretty much the whole war. Oh, and I got it pretty much gratis thanks to some slick bartering!

Your WRA double box WB cartouche is different from the ones that I have owned. The rectangular box inside the WRA cartouche is too
long and not like any that I have seen. The flame and crossed cannons are not the same as mine ?

Just received an email from Rick B. (someone had just sent him a photo of your WRA double box WB cartouche) he said it is fake

Kind of looks like a Findley cartouche ?

Rifle on top is a Type 2 NM, 1963 version and bottom is a Dec. 1941 SA. I like both but would have to pick the Dec. 41 as my "favorite"

This old girl right here. Used and abused by the Turks. "Restored" by me.

                    1954 IHC.

The first Garand I bought was a prewar 6 digit. Most components on it were from mid to late '43 so I assume it was rebuilt then. It came with an HRA stock, but I was able to find a long channel GHS stock with a rebuild stamp, so that is what it is now in. I'm not sure if it is my favorite because it was my first one or because it is just before the start of WWII.

Hum, to hard to pin down to just one. My Favorite 1960's rebuild is the RRAD just becuase its so darn clean

                        But then the WRA

But then I also like the LEAD WRA with "A" serial

Then again the all Original IHC has a place

As far as the oldies my completely correct Dec 1941 is the one

But then PB and Breda Garands and oh, my Navy Garand is definatly one of my favorite shooters. Nope sorry just cant narrow it down to one

I like those RRAD rifles. Mainly because I work for an Engineering Firm and do a lot of work for them up there.
