Hi All,
My son will enter high school in September. The school doesn't have a Riflery program. But at least one other school in the same league does have such a program. I would like to change that. At the high school and even collegiate level these programs seem to be intentionally limited to light caliber and short range using Anschutz or equivalent rifles. My goal is to introduce such a program to his high school. Does anybody have any ideas or know what the most likely pathway is to achieving this goal? I could imagine that having the backing of a respectable organization (e.g. CMP) and maybe some legal advice would help. I assume that the school may have financial and liability concerns. I live on Long Island. I have not yet approached anybody at the school. I am just wondering if anybody has any experience directing such programs and could offer advice.
