Was going through some buttplates yesterday and found this. A WRA buttplate with inverted checkering. The real strange thing is I found two like it in the pile, whats the odds of that?
I have talked to another collector and his guess is the balck was stamped with the checkering them but in the press backwards that forms the rest of the buttplate. Atleast that makes sense to me
