Front sights of all manufactures will vary in width, none of the widths are written in stone. Generally the WRA will have milling marks and "some" are punch marked on the side towards bottom

Thanks for the info. I wrongly thought that the sight width/serial number ranges that they were found in was far simpler. It all looks random and like no one sight width is correct for any segent of the serial numbers.
